Formation, Inc. offers the Advanced Integrated Recorder (AIR) line of record & replay systems, designed specifically for the ATC and C4I/Air Defense markets. AIR provides integrated & synchronized recording of voice, workstation screen, LAN/WAN and radar data, and may be configured as a stand-alone device with as few as four recording channels, or as a multi-node networked system with 1000+ recording channels. Recorders, replay stations and management systems are easily networked to allow seamless operation over geographically distributed locations. All AIR hardware is 100% COTS, and is available in 1U, 2U and 3U rack-mountable configurations. With optional dual CPUs, RAID, and hot-swappable fans and power supplies, AIR O2 offers the highest performance, reliability and availability in the industry.
Customers including the U.S. Navy, Naviair, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, Telephonics, Boeing, Raytheon, and the Canadian, Danish and Belgian Air Forces have deployed over 300 AIR systems worldwide. In addition, a unit of Thales Raytheon Systems has selected AIR O2 for NATO’s Air Command & Control System (ACCS LOC1), through which the system is being deployed in sites throughout Europe and will be supported for a minimum of 15 years.
